Ebb and Flow
Cape Cod's Guide to Health, Wellness and Sustainability
Ebb & Flow is the latest little square publication to come from Love Local Media, and it aims to be the go to guide for health, wellness and sustainability on Cape Cod. The mission of the bi-annual publication is to educate consumers about the local wellness community, connect local practitioners to each other and the public, and inspire Cape Codders to take care of themselves and the environment.
Co- founders Beth Madden and Amanda Converse teamed up this past spring to shine a spotlight on the amazing health, wellness and sustainability community here on the Cape. With Beth’s expertise in the wellness world (she is the owner of Therapeutic Bodywork in Cotuit), and Amanda's connections to the green community (she is the owner of Shift Eco-Boutique in Hyannis) they are confident Ebb & Flow will bring Cape Codders the information they are seeking about the local wellness community and practitioners, as well as the best ways in which to take care of themselves and the natural environment.
They also intend to go beyond the print publication to do just that. Through their website and social media channels, they intend to share more about the local wellness scene, as well as stories, ideas, expertise and products.

Cape Cancer Thrift Shop
The Little Shop That Could
It's often the people working quietly behind the scenes that make such a profound difference in our community. And if there were ever a poster child for this statement, it should be Cape Cancer Thrift Shop.
This beautifully organized store of second hand treasures has donated a whopping $30,000 to Cape Wellness Collaborative over the past year, in addition to their generous contributions to Dana Farber. Manager Maryann Crossley and her wonderful group of volunteers run the shop, putting in hours of sweat equity that results in real financial support for the people in our community facing cancer.
Please help us support this wonderful organization, by:
Visiting the shop in West Barnstable
Making a donation – they accept most household items, with the exception of clothing and electronics
