Hyannis, MA – March 2021 – Cape Wellness Collaborative is thrilled to announce seven new board members: Kathy Bilotta, Eric Clark, Phil McCahill, Patrice Milley, Sasandra Richardson, Diane Todd and Elizabeth Zacharatos.
Our new directors come from a variety of unique backgrounds and are poised to provide strategic direction around the CWC mission – to provide free-of-charge integrative therapies and nutritious meals to people on Cape Cod and the Island facing cancer.
We are so grateful to welcome these wonderful community leaders to our team, said Sarah Swain, Founder and CEO of Cape Wellness Collaborative. It is so heartening to witness such a genuine desire to make a difference from so many.
Kathy Bilotta is a retired nurse who has volunteered with CWC for several years before joining the board. Kathy has shared her talents in many ways, helping with everything from data entry to event coordination.
Eric Clark calls himself a "student of life." He is well-versed in acupuncture, mathematics and real estate – and channels these passions to help others. Eric was on the original CWC Wellness Committee and has served as a CWC practitioner for more than 5 years.
Phil McCahill retired from the Xerox Corporation in 2016 after a thirty-seven year career in corporate finance. Phil has volunteered or consulted with several non-profits and small businesses (Including CWC), providing support to manage, analyze, and report information from their donation databases and point of sale systems.
Patrice Milley is the owner and founder of Patrice R. Milley Floral Designs, a boutique floral and event company based in Chatham. Patrice has also volunteered for CWC over the years, serving on the Dancing with the Docs event committee and providing floral arrangements for CWC events.
Sasandra “Sassy" Richardson is co-owner of The Farm, a locally-owned and family operated nursery and garden center in Orleans. Sassy describes herself as a "Lover of life and community. Guardian to family. Proud second generation family business owner, and listener to all." Needless to say, she will be a dynamic and valued addition to the organization.
Dr. Diane Todd is an optometrist and owner of Nauset Optical Eye Care in Orleans. She believes deeply in supporting the local community; Diane volunteers and serves on committees and boards of many local Cape Cod organizations. Dr. Todd was also a "dancing doc" in CWC's 2020 Dancing with the Docs, performing swing with pro Doug McHugh.
Elizabeth Zacharatos is a registered nurse with MDVIP, a national network of physicians who practice preventive and personalized healthcare. She and her husband Mario Zacharatos, M.D. moved to the Cape from Ohio a few years ago and have already contributed greatly to the community. In fact, Dr. Mario also performed (a foxtrot with pro Rebecca Terkelsen) in 2020's Dancing with the Docs!
