Join us at CWC for a letter writing party to support Girls Love Mail.  Girls Love Mail is a volunteer-run organization that collects hand-written notes/letters and distributes them to women newly-diagnosed with breast cancer, all across the country.

A hand-written letter has the special power to heal. Girls Love Mail collects your hand-written letters of encouragement, bundles them, and sends them, via the caring staff at cancer centers. Every letter is a gift from you to a woman going through a difficult time. Imagine how you'd feel, just blown away by the news of a cancer diagnosis, and you receive this random act of kindness in a letter from a total stranger.

CWC will supply the materials for writing the letters.  We will then collect them and send them off to Girls Love Mail who will distribute from there.  There are guidelines which we will review when you arrive.  You can pop in at any time during this timeframe to write one letter or a few- whatever you have time for.

We will offer tea and some snacks during this time.

Hosted by CWC and facilitated by our breast cancer support group facilitator Patricia Hayes.

We encourage sign ups to gauge the number that will attend. Thank you!
