Have you ever wished there was a phrase that was somehow bigger, better and more expressive than "thank you?"
This is one of those times. The people, the resources, the generosity, the hard work and dedication, and the downright UNBELIEVABLE community support that created Season 4 of Dancing with the Docs Cape Cod is truly inspiring, and we can never thank you all enough for your contributions.
As we start another new year, we are so humbled and grateful to be serving so many people in our community facing cancer. To date, 793 clients have received integrative therapies, and we have provided 688 nutritious meals!
We are simply overcome by the generosity of our community. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and not one, not two, but SIX local organizations have chosen to create awareness and raise money with one thing in common - Cape Wellness Collaborative is their chosen beneficiary. We are overwhelmed and overjoyed by all of you who came out to support, volunteer and sponsor the 7th annual Cape Cod Women's Music Festival. Because of YOUwe raised an incredible $25,000 to help our friends and neighbors with cancer feel better. Wow.
We are blown away by the generosity of our community. Our Dancing with the Docs silent auction has incredible items and great packages, including Boston sports memorabilia, 12 months of dining on Cape Cod, and lots more!
Cape Wellness Collaborative is expanding its programs with three new initiatives – WellnessEats, WellnessMoves, and WellnessCares – that will provide additional support to people with cancer and their caregivers.
Our clients (past and present) and their caregivers are invited to join Carol Marcy for our ongoing meditation series. We meet Saturday mornings at 9:30 AM at the CWC offices at 11 Potter Ave., 2nd floor.
Dancing With the Docs is stepping back into the spotlight for “season three.”
The gala event features nine local doctors, each dancing with an expert partner. The evening next spring will raise funds for Cape Wellness Collaborative (CWC), a local nonprofit that gives free complementary, integrative therapies (including massage, acupuncture, Reiki and nutrition counseling) to people with cancer.
Enjoy a beautiful evening of craft cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on the lawn as you browse and bid on our amazing silent auction items. Then, a private performance inside the gallery by Sarah Swain & the Oh Boys.
Thanks to our wonderful friends at Kaleidoscope Imprints, you can get great merchandise from the Cape Cod Women's Music Festival online! This was our first #plasticfreefestival - and the stainless pint and wine glasses were a huge part of its success. Not to mention the tees, tanks and hoodies! Tell your friends and support CWC.
A tradition with a mission, the annual Cape Cod Women’s Music Festival is both a showcase for female singers and musicians and a cancer-related fundraiser benefiting The Cape Cod Wellness Collaborative.
