Decked out in a fringe vest, Debbie Jenkins, of Harwich, reaches out to return a ball in pickleball action. The fourth annual Pink Ribbon Pickleball fundraiser was held Wednesday, Oct. 2 at Flax Pond Recreation Area in South Yarmouth. This year's theme was Flower Power. Each year women pickleball players from around the Cape gather at the South Yarmouth pickleball courts to fundraise for Cape Wellness Collaborative, a non-profit organization that provides free integrative therapies, nutritious meals and emotional support to those in the community with cancer. An estimated 130 pickleball players attended the event Wednesday. Last year's event raised $4,000 for CWC, co-organizer Beth Deneen said.
