Rise Above, directed by Kim Rodriques and Geoff Bassett, follows Cape Cod musician and CWC founder Sarah Swain’s journey of losing her mother to cancer and how that experience motivated her to make a difference in her community for others diagnosed with cancer. Rise Above was recently named an official selection and finalist in the Massachusetts International Film Festival Awards. The documentary has also received 3 semi-finalist nominations in the London International Filmmakers Festival, the Hawaii International Film Awards, and the Hollywood International Golden Age Festival.
