A cancer diagnosis changes everything. It can shake a person’s sense of comfort, security, and hope. But here on Cape Cod and the Islands, no one has to face that journey alone.

Right now, we are serving 919 cancer patients and family caregivers, offering them care, compassion, and community when they need it most. Because of generous donors like you, nearly 1,000 Cape and Island residents each year receive free integrative therapies, emotional support groups, and six weeks of nourishing, oncology-informed meals.

Your gift makes all of this possible. Each client receives $750 for services, choosing from over 80 local wellness practitioners—including massage therapists, acupuncturists, yoga instructors, and more. Caregivers receive $200 in support for their own healing. Clients never see a bill. We pay our partners directly—so your gift not only helps people living with cancer, it also strengthens local small businesses across the Cape and Islands.

But the need continues to grow. Each year, more than 2,100 Cape and Islands residents hear the words “You have cancer.” Many face this challenge without nearby family or financial security. Many are doing their best to work, raise children, and fight for their lives—all at once.

This year, we expanded our programs to include new movement offerings like rowing and a dedicated men’s support group, filling a long-standing gap in our community. And in 2026, we hope to reach even more people who need us.

Our goal is to raise an additional $30,000 with this appeal. Will you help us get there? Your gift today will bring comfort, nourishment, and healing to someone facing cancer right here at home.

Please, take a moment to use the enclosed envelope and make your most generous contribution today. Together, we can help even more of our neighbors feel better.

The support from CWC was so valuable, particularly for someone who lives alone, knowing I could care for myself while in a 4-8 week recovery period. I did not have to think about my nutrition, shopping, or meal plans.
